How to buy Pokemon cards with Bitcoin or Ethereum

A beginner guide to paying for graded Pokemon cards with BTC or ETH: where to buy crypto, how to pay a Bitcart invoice, and how confirmations work.

You do not need to be a crypto expert

Checkout at Slabify TCG creates one Bitcart invoice after your cart is validated. You choose Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) on the invoice, and it shows the exact amount, a QR code, and a payment address. You only need a wallet with enough BTC or ETH to pay it.

1. Choose where to buy BTC or ETH

Buy crypto from a trusted, regulated exchange or wallet app available in your country. Coinbase and Kraken sell both BTC and ETH; Cash App, Strike and River sell BTC only.

2. Create and verify your account

Most providers ask for your name, email, phone number, and an identity check before you can buy. This can take a few minutes or longer depending on the provider.

3. Buy enough for the card and fees

Buy at least the order total plus a small extra amount for network fees (Bitcoin transaction fees or Ethereum gas). The final Bitcart invoice shows the exact amount to send.

4. Pay the Bitcart invoice

At checkout, choose BTC or ETH on the invoice, then scan the QR code with your wallet or copy the address and amount. Check the address carefully before sending. Send only the coin you selected: BTC to the BTC address, or ETH on the Ethereum mainnet to the ETH address. Do not send tokens such as USDT, Lightning payments, or ETH on another network (such as Arbitrum, Base or BNB Chain); those payments can be lost.

5. Wait for confirmation

Orders move to insured shipping once the payment is confirmed on-chain. Bitcoin payments need 3 confirmations, which usually takes around 30 minutes with normal fees. Ethereum payments usually confirm within a few minutes. Both can take longer when the network is busy.
