About this card

This 2014 XY-P promo is tied to the Mega Battle event and features Greninja and Charizard. The XY-P code identifies it as part of the Japanese promotional series from the XY era, separate from the main booster sets of that time.

Greninja was introduced as the final evolution of Froakie, the Water-type starter of Pokemon X and Y, while Charizard has been one of the most collected Pokemon since the first card sets. Event promos were given out through organised play and special events rather than sold in packs, which is a large part of their appeal to promo collectors.

PSA has graded the card a 10, Gem Mint. It is the highest grade on PSA's ten-point scale and describes a virtually perfect card with sharp corners, original gloss and acceptable centering.
