About this card
Ninetales 199/197 is an Illustration Rare from Obsidian Flames, an English Scarlet & Violet expansion released in 2023. Its number sits above the 197-card main set, which places it among the set's secret rares.
Illustration Rares give a single Pokemon a full scene artwork that runs across the whole card, so the attack text is printed over the painting instead of beside a framed picture. Here the subject is Ninetales, the Fire-type Fox Pokemon that evolves from Vulpix, a design that has been part of the series since the original Kanto games.
PSA has graded this copy a 10, Gem Mint, which is the top of its ten-point scale.
