About this card
Blastoise VMAX 002/020 is a full art card from a 2020 Japanese starter set, one of the ready-to-play decks released in Japan during the Sword & Shield era. As a starter set card it comes from a preconstructed product rather than from booster packs.
VMAX cards arrived with the Sword & Shield series and represent the Dynamax and Gigantamax forms from the Pokemon Sword and Shield games. Blastoise, the final evolution of the Kanto starter Squirtle, has a Gigantamax form in those games, and this card gives it the large, full art treatment typical of VMAX cards.
PSA graded it a 10, which PSA names Gem Mint. That is the top grade on PSA's scale, describing a virtually perfect card with sharp corners, full gloss and centering within its limits.
