About this card

Released in 2024, Surging Sparks is a Scarlet & Violet expansion, and this English Pikachu ex is its Special Illustration Rare, usually shortened to SIR.

Pikachu has been the face of the Pokemon franchise from the very beginning, so its top-rarity cards tend to draw interest from collectors well beyond regular players. The SIR format, which arrived with the Scarlet & Violet series, gives the artist the entire card to work with and is numbered above the set's main card count, which is how secret rares are marked.

This copy sits in a PSA holder with a grade of 10, Gem Mint, the highest mark PSA gives a card.
