About this card

This pair brings together two 2017 promos numbered 037/SM-P and 038/SM-P, built around the poncho Pikachu theme and Alolan Vulpix. The SM-P code places both cards in Japan's Sun & Moon era promo series, which was released outside the regular booster expansions.

Poncho Pikachu is a recurring Japanese promo theme in which Pikachu is drawn wearing a poncho styled after another Pokemon. Alolan Vulpix, the Ice-type regional form introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon, ties this set to the Alola generation, and the consecutive numbers make the two cards a natural pair.

Both cards are graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, the top grade on PSA's ten-point scale. PSA reserves it for virtually perfect cards with sharp corners, full original gloss and centering within its published tolerances.
