About this card

Pikachu and Rayquaza share the frame on this card from an Illustration Collection release. It pairs the franchise mascot with Rayquaza, the Dragon and Flying-type legendary that first appeared in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire and is known in the games as the Sky High Pokemon.

Rayquaza has been a fixture of the trading card game since its early EX era, and Pikachu has appeared on more cards than almost any other Pokemon, so artwork that puts the two side by side appeals to fans of either one. Cards built around illustration rather than gameplay are collected mainly for the artwork itself.

PSA has graded this copy a 10, Gem Mint. That is the highest grade PSA gives, describing a virtually perfect card with sharp corners, original gloss and centering that meets PSA's standard.
